That explanation is a little misleading… yes if you are on here a lot and post a lot… people will still not really respond, comment or message you. You might get some reactions but that’s usually the limit unless you get really really really lucky.

Honestly, a lot of it has to do with what attitude you have in your posts. The more responsive and funny or interesting you are, the more likely you'll get responses in the forum, which might lead to a PM.

For myself, I like to watch and see what kind of things you post. If I'm intrigued, I'll message someone.

Don't get down on yourselves, just post without expectations. Be yourself, put yourself out there, reach out to the ones you like. Eventually you’ll find like minded people. Lit should be used as entertainment, do not base your happiness on this site, use it as a tool of entertainment.

Also make sure to “read the room” in a specific forum. Review past posts to get a feel for what the residents are like, and how they react to different types of comments.
