What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

I'm wanting to use a pic of THE SHADOW, not like it's adult or anything...LOL
Yeah, no, it doesn't matter. Since the new features were introduced it has become worse with time, not better. Before it was around a week or two, and now is a month. Plus, you have to wait for "approval" even if you want to delete your av. Which makes no sense to me, but "it is what it is" I guess.

I was thinking how interesting it would be if anyone could look at any other person and know instantly how many orgasms that person has had in his or her lifetime. No one could hide it from anyone. For instance, you check out at a supermarket and you can tell with just a glance how many orgasms your cashier has had, and he knows the same about you. How and why and with whom (if anyone) are all unknown; there is just a grand total. There would be some people who shamelessly add to their numbers, and others would be stuck on one number for weeks or years. People would come back to work after vacation, and everyone could see that the number had jumped higher by a dozen during the week they were gone. Or your roommate comes back from a shower with her number now up by one, so you know what happened in there. Some people would have zeroes. Would they be considered pure, or would they be considered broken? There would definitely be a code of etiquette that develops around this, but what would it be like? Would it be considered very rude to mention anyone's number in a social situation?

I'm thankful for my ignorance and would like to keep it that way. If the day comes that by looking a person that's the first thing I'll know about them, then please...lol

I like the way you think.

I was thinking about it as if it was something that people became used to generations ago and culture evolved around it. If such a thing happened suddenly, it would be chaos at first. Some people would become recluses in order to avoid other people. Things would be crazy for years until an etiquette took hold.

No, I get it. My point is though that I wouldn't like to live in that kind of culture.

Why do people go to the library? Are libraries still important to people? They must be, as they are still in operation. With so much information and entertainment available at your fingertips through the internet, is it losing relevancy? Is it still a central community hub for activities? Am I the only one in my circle that still goes to the library regularly? At all?

I do! I love the library. We have many cool programs and all my kids volunteered at the library…

I go to the library regularly and take my girls! But if I can get a book from the library on my kindle, I'll do that instead.

Besides the library and encyclopedias, what else has the internet basically made obsolete?
Phone books, written resumes, going to the grocery store, small businesses, any form of privacy, flyers, inviting friends over to see photos, newspapers/magazines, watching tv for the weather, that number we use to call to get the time and weather…that just what came to mind in the first 10 minutes. 🤷🏾‍♀️

One GOOD thing it got rid of is getting LOST. MAPS on cell phones make traveling SO much easier now!
It made it easier to plan projects, communicate with people long distance and you can find a YouTube video to teach you anything. Kinda made college obsolete these days. 😳
I learned two new languages online too!

I love the library and hope they live on forever. Bookstores too. And record stores. The internet has rendered a lot of these things close to obsolete but the experience of picking up a book or record can't be beat.
