What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

Trying to get my dad a taxi so he can go visit my mom in hospital is near impossible this weekend. I’ve been trying for hours. Friends, Uber, Lyft, taxi, I don’t care.
I can’t get there until Tuesday night. Ugh

I hoped to watch a movie today :(

My dad had a minor stroke a week and a half ago. I think it has been a huge eye-opener for them at their advanced ages.
My mom too, minor but still in hospital, rehab unit next, but my parents still think they are still young, although my dad has out lived his parents by 24 yrs and my mom outlived her dad by 33!

I was just wondering to myself when was the last time a game was invented that's as internationally known and played as chess?
Then I think I answered my own question with "Tetris".
Then again, are they as equal of a game?
Chess has no copyright, and I think Tetris does. I think, unlike chess, anyone can't just legally make a board and play any time they want.
If they do, I think it can't legally be called Tetris. Or can it?
On top of that, unlike chess, you can't literally draw a board into the dirt and play.
Then again again, as ubiquitous as Tetris is on just about any electronic device, in this day and age it's almost as easy to play.
So is Tetris the modern equivalent of chess, or does its copyright and computer requirement keep it on a lower level of worldwide gaming?
