I was really pissed that I found she'd taken two of my tires while I was inside the police station. But, my SIL showed up with burritos while I waited for the shop to fix it.

What if we made a whole industry out if it? I mean, sex itself is an industry, but what if there was a competition for style, grace, stamina, technique. Solo events, women's, men's, couples events, team events? There could be representation at Universities, professional, and country level representatives like the Olympics?

Anyone think they got what what it takes to be a sportfucker? What would auditions look like? Team tryouts? Substitutions? Judges? Get out your scorecards!

Wouldn't the ultra conservatives flip out?

How did we do it before AC? We had a lot of 90s, even some 100s, high humidity, not cooling off much at night. No AC at all. Not even ceiling fans. I don't even remember having window fans. There was one whole house fan in the attic that would only help a little if all the windows and interior doors were open.

I can't remember if I had a window AC in my house in the '80s.

I remember moving houses not long after my 8th birthday. The house was built in the early 50's with just a wood burning stove for heat and lots of east/west windows. We didn't own a window AC unit at the time, I think my parents were saving every dime they could to afford Central Air. Those first few weeks of summer heat... ugh. I'd get tucked into bed, and as soon as my Mom would shut the door, I'd move to sleep on the floor.. At some point, we got a single window unit. It was installed in my parents tiny bedroom.. parents would sleep on the bed, my brother and I slept on the floor with the doggo. That first night being crammed into that one bedroom...it felt like heaven.

I honestly can't imagine asking my kiddos to sleep in such a hot house. Guess we're all spoiled nowadays...
