What Are You Thankful For?

Well, the thread title says it all: What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for my amazing friends and great family. I'm thankful that I have a place I can write stories and share them with others. I'm thankful that I have such a great life with everything I need.

I'm thankful that I'm not American so I don't have to participate in this bizarre holiday so close to Christmas but still get to watch a triple-header of football.

I'm thankful that I and mine have remained in good health and prospered despite the economic conditions.

Without them, I wouldn't be who I am today.

I'm thankful for waking up every morning and finding that I'm still alive. I'm thankful for my family, friends, good health, my writing talents, a good memory, my creativity and being born and and reared in America the Beautiful. With it's warts and all, it's still the greatest country on the face of this big blue marble called Earth.

I'm thankful for the numerous challenges and struggles in my childhood that gave me compassion and wisdom to understand others.
