What are you thankful for this holiday season?

Not much. Feeling rather bitter about the shit in my life.

But I do enjoy cooking and eating today and tomorrow.

I am thankful that in this shitstorm called 2016, there are still positives and silver linings. I have amazing friends, brilliant kids, a great job, and things are starting to look up.

The last two weeks were especially difficult and have me reflecting on what is truly important in life. I'm especially appreciative for those of you here who have been checking on me. You feel like family.

I am thankful that I am in a far better place this year than I was last year at this time. I have a fantastic job, am in good health, and have some wonderful people in my life (even if some of them are hypocrites). ;)

The impending end of the great Climate Swindle & Gravy Train—
the biggest scam in the history of the universe.

Energy Department
2017 climate-related budget: $8.5 billion

Interior Department
2017 climate-related budget: $1.1 billion

State Department
2017 climate-related budget: $984 million

NASA
2017 climate-related budget: $1.9 billion

Environmental Protection Agency
2017 climate-related budget: $1.1 billion

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
2017 climate-related research and development: $190 million

Wind Production Tax Credit, another $12 or so billion annually.

— that’s $25.5 billion of useless waste which can be cut immediately from the Federal Budget. $25.5 billion is an awful lot of road resurfacing and bridge repairs, or a very welcome new year bonus for hard pressed taxpaying Americans.

Normally we'd all be gathered in my sister's kitchen right now singing along with Alice's Restaurant playing on XRT. While I am missing being there, I am thankful my little beauties are all home and healthy.

Every blessing in my life, there are too many to name.

Oh yeah, and I didn't ruin the turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I'm off to see my 98-year-old grandfather, who I'm most grateful for.

i'm not american, but thankful for all the small blessings in life - and some of the big ones. mostly for the people in my life, unasked for help from unexpected places, a roof over my head, a job, and wonderful things to look forward to that have taken longer than hoped for but are much closer now and this year of fightingto get so many different things sorted is almost done.

and saturday i get to have my first thanksgiving meal with elle, G, their dogs, and friends!

I am thankful first and foremost that my uncles suffering is over. I am th!nkful for my family and friends, my relatively good health and the prospects on the horizon.

I read your post and feel for you, I'm in a really weird place of Flux. Not with the people I should be, working all weekend, even worked this morning... I am sure you have much in your life to be thankful for. Sometimes it doesn't feel like it, but just getting out of bed in the morning is a good reason to be grateful

im thankful for have a man who mostly treats me like a princess, grown up chitlins who are doing well, a career that i have greatly expanded upon, and my jeep

I know. I'm fine, really. Just this damn custody shit bringing me down. I hate having to send them when they don't want to go. It kills me.

Both of us need a good, strong drink!

I'm thankful I'm not a Yank and have to bother with all this shite.

I am happy that I am in Canada. Love my family, from a distance. :D

I am thankful for my friends and family. We are in decent health. Along with my furry ones.
I am thankful for a fed ex delivery today.
