What are you listening to ?

A large Spotify playlist of cover songs, mostly by heavier bands. But if you ever get a minute, listen to Power Station's version of "Let's Get it On", the old Marvin Gaye tune. Robert Palmer's voice works perfectly, very soulful and sincere. And the bass line is like listening to what the continents must sound like as they drift across the world; it's the most bottom heavy riff I've ever heard in in a non-doom metal band.

The Gunclub, with Jeffrey Lee Pierce, tormented soul and died to young sadly, but what he&gunclub left us with his beautifull songs, every album is fantastic!,not as populair you would think because the music is so much better than what you hear today, for our members in the USA&UK listen to this great band and tell me if i was wrong

those were the days everything was possible, now in those days you are controlled, keep your mouth ,miniskirts, etc

Last night I watched a full Grateful Dead concert from summer '89. It was like seeing old friends. Tonight is something I worked on today, then a couple of Steely Dan things.
What show was it? There are several shows on YouTube from 89. My favorite is 7/4/89 from Buffalo (released as Truckin up to Buffalo). The next show 7/7/89 from Philly is also outstanding. That one has my favorite Wharf Rat!
