You know not talking about things doesn't make it go away either. In fact it makes it worse. that's the whole point of free speech. most know difference between saying and doingPromoting a band who writes songs about rape and harbours a sexual predator. Quelle suprise.

2AM Friday morning, listening to "Red Eye Radio", a nationwide (US) talk radio show primarily targeted toward interstate truckers, but the conversation topics are of a general political orientation. It's mostly freewheeling conversation between the two hosts but they are articulate and don't launch into rants. This time of night there are no talking head guests, part of the program's appeal.
This time of day (well, night) is my preferred time to write, with the radio to keep me company. Work in progress is a sort of magnum opus, a trilogy of novels set against a backdrop of a modern but isolated society. Been working at it off and on for years. One novel done; another has a good first draft, but some continuity issues remain; and the third needs lots of work. Maybe by the end of the year......

I kicked it with Shirley for about 20 minutes at Garbage's first LA show. My GF's uncle was friends with Butch and we were at the VIP party. She noticed I was bored and came over to me.
