What are you listening to ?

A recording of people singing in a cathedral, today

"Britain on Tuesday marked the first anniversary of a suicide bomb attack at Manchester Arena that killed 22 people."

Young people should be allowed to enjoy live music performances, without fear.

The Stone Roses - I Am the Resurrection (Live In Blackpool)

*cannot find that version! Not available* grrrrrr

I long for the old days of youtube, when I could watch anything, from any part of the world.

Gillan - Mr. Universe (Promo 1979) VERY RARE FOOTAGE !

His voice was still un-damaged. I am glad the opera set did not hijack him for their own stage.

It is 2018, and the young people, are still young people, after all. They have their own path to walk. They have their own idols to worship.

*tip of the hat, to jmarx20102012 for posting about The Replacements

I am thinking fondly of WFNX Boston

They did not torture listeners.

The radio station was kept running by people that loved music.

Alternative meant something good, once upon a time.

Bollocks to the youth!

talking of voices though, listen to Bernir (torme) in this piece, excellent string plucker, but no wonder he didnt do lead vocals...

*curious*

hobbit, what have been delving into ?

It has been 50 years, since JFK was taken away. People are asking questions, while others are still alive, to be asked.

correction-

RFK was taken away in June, 50 years ago.

Weezer’s Africa cover.

I loved this song as a kid, but I heard the chorus lyrics wrong. The actual lyric, “I bless the rains down in Africa,” I always thought were “I miss the rains down in Africa,” and thus I thought the song was all about nostalgia, rather than a missionary looking for some booty.
