Sue Hadjopoulos, the percussionist is amazing. She's done a ton of work with Joe, including the Night and Day record, which is fantastic front to back.
I saw the While My Guitar Gently Weeps video too. I dug it.

Recorded on Lissma Kvarnsjö outside Stockholm the 5th of December.
On the lake called Lissma Kvarnsjö near Stockholm, a brave man skates on new ice that is only a couple of inches thick (45mm). The ice sings and groans and echoes as he glides along. Those who've done this say that the skater doesn't hear much of this, that it takes some distance for the sound to reverberate properly.
The eerie sounds are generated by a phenomenon called acoustic dispersion. There's a neat explanation in this video. In case you are simply disappointed that he never fell through the ice, you'll be rewarded by watching this clip.

Barbara Ann Alston had been in intensive care at a Charlotte hospital for more than two weeks when she became one of 200 North Carolinians to die from the flu this season.
She died Feb. 16 in Charlotte at age 74 – was the lead singer for Phil Spector’s girl group The Crystals, which had a string of hits including “Da Doo Ron Ron” and “Then He Kissed Me.”
Barbara Ann Alston was a founding member of The Crystals.
