Something to hopefully put me to sleep; it's been a long, long night and day...

The Dave Brubeck Quartet ~ Live at Oberlin

The local NPR classical station's feed of Music Till Dawn. Something is churning away at the moment that I don't recognize. some late-romantic symphony, probably French. It's easy to ignore.

"Green Tinted Sixties Mind" by Mr. Big

"Baba O'Reilly" redone awesomely by Mr. Big (R.I.P. Pat Torpey)--Thanks to Paul Gilbert's redoing covers he was able to rework the keyboard to the guitar and of course only Billy Sheehan with that awesome tone on the bass could take over the former guitar part. Leave it to Mr. Big to redo something and improve upon it! :D

"Improve on it." "Improve on it?"

Soap. Mouth. Wash.

Condemn yourself to a thousand dooms, a thousand virgins too far away, the barman always looking the other way. Cringe, you spawn of an unchaste mother.

Mind you, not quite so bad as the silly twenty something who thought Trent Reznor wrote "Behind Blue Eyes." Fuck me, some people should not be allowed near the world.

Slayer - Raining Blood

How better to start a Sunday morning than with the kings of thrash metal?
