Chocolates and flowers? Teddy bears? A night on the town at a favorite restaurant? A CD or DVD they've been wanting? Yourself wrapped in one big, red ribbon? Going to pop the question with a shiny ring?
Or are you like I've been for the last several years- without a honey to spoil on the big day, passing by the sections in the stores festooned with red balloons and heart-shaped boxes of candy? Averting your eyes from a whole day of the year, hoping it'll pass quickly?
Hang in there! Being alone for a few Valentine's Days makes it all the sweeter when you're not, so look forward to it!
This year I have a bonafide Valentine to shower with affection. I'm so lucky I can hardly stand myself. I'm having a lot of fun thinking about what to get for him.
Two big restrictions however: 1) Money (what else?). I don't have much. 2) Location. Can't be with him physically. He's off in the UK. I have lots of ideas on how to surprise and pamper him from afar, but I feel like the perfect thing is eluding me.
So I'd love to hear about what interesting and original things you've all done or will be doing. A little extra inspiration could be just the ticket!
