What are you getting your sweetie for Valentine's Day?

Chocolates and flowers? Teddy bears? A night on the town at a favorite restaurant? A CD or DVD they've been wanting? Yourself wrapped in one big, red ribbon? Going to pop the question with a shiny ring?

Or are you like I've been for the last several years- without a honey to spoil on the big day, passing by the sections in the stores festooned with red balloons and heart-shaped boxes of candy? Averting your eyes from a whole day of the year, hoping it'll pass quickly?

Hang in there! Being alone for a few Valentine's Days makes it all the sweeter when you're not, so look forward to it!

This year I have a bonafide Valentine to shower with affection. I'm so lucky I can hardly stand myself. I'm having a lot of fun thinking about what to get for him.

Two big restrictions however: 1) Money (what else?). I don't have much. 2) Location. Can't be with him physically. He's off in the UK. I have lots of ideas on how to surprise and pamper him from afar, but I feel like the perfect thing is eluding me.

So I'd love to hear about what interesting and original things you've all done or will be doing. A little extra inspiration could be just the ticket!

I'm getting her a new vibrator. She's been so good to me, attending to my every sexual need, knowing all the right spots...

*sigh*

I'm that transparent, aren't I?

3 CDs of his favourite musicians and a trumpet mute.

I'm expecting a V-day boff. :D

If I had one I would get her 15 ruby red roses and whole lot of kissin, lickin, suckin and fuckin

I'm getting mine a box of cold dead snakes and a stamp for his forehead that reads "LOSER"

Naw, I'm not angry.

Starblayde,
Aw! You'd better get lookin'! Only a little over a week left... or you could just get together with a similarly single friend and make a date for just the holiday to cheer each other up :D

Emerald,
Very cool. My parents always gave us boxes of chocolates when I was a kid. I wonder why they don't do that anymore? Hm!

marksgirl,
Also cool. May I suggest edible ribbon?

Eumenides,
I've never used a vibe, but am given to understand they can be really fun...

guilty pleasure,
Personalized stuff is always the best. Very nice! Just out of curiosity, what's a trumpet mute? An attachment for a trumpet?

Zmey,
Why 15?

Ezzie,
I have no clue what he did to deserve dead snakes, but maybe he'll make up for it...

Christophe,
All I can say is, wow! You must be floating on clouds! Have a wonderful time.

m4m4 10n9,
Nothing? You mean, you have no one to give a present to or someone you don't want to give a present to?

Bump for the night crew :)

Grrrrrrr....

I was just about to surprise him with the DVD of the first season of "The Shield" for V-day and he BOUGHT IT HIMSELF!! Damn, now what to do?

I guess V-day sex. Not that bad, I guess, but I think he'd have been more surprised and happy with the DVD.

Well, I guess I could get my make believe sweetie a dozen exotic flowers and a full body massage...

I don't have a Valentine...I have a playmate. What am I giving him for Valentine's Day? Anything his little horny heart desires!

I was thinkin' a heart made outta pocket lint and a nickle with a hole in it would be extra good.

I will make my kids heart-shaped pancakes as traditon dictates and then we have pizza for dinner. (Shut up about the carbs already!) ;)

I take some Valentine treats into work to share and that's about it.
