What are you doing to demonstrate your support?

Please forgive me if this has already been discussed in another thread.

I have read about tying a black ribbon in your flying flag, trying a black ribbon on your antenna, and driving with your headlights on.

What else are we here doing to demonatrate our emotional involvement at this horror?

Oh yeah--I have thought about printing a bumper sticker with my new sig line on it. (It would be great on regular paper with some clear tape!)

Does this answer the question?

I havn't heard of those, but today, I saw one woman who was wearing one of those ribbon pins. This one wasn't just one ribbon, there were three. A red, a yellow, and a black. Does anyone know if those are the colors 'choosen' for this?

I'm not siding with any revolutionary causes for the next few weeks.

I didn't feel right walking into the Marxism class today that I'd previously been so zealous about.

I'm going to donate some money to my local Red Cross.

Not sure those colors are official but I have been giving away a ton of them from my store. Yellow for those still fighting this, and those who will continue. Red for the blood spilled and for the firefighters and rescue workers, black. Well. I don't have to explain that one.

I live here in Central New York, and we have many Dr's and nurses and such that may be heading out of here, and hospitals that, hopefully, will be receiving wounded. But.... Here is something you can do. Go to your local hospital and volunteer. With reduced staffs, as they are always due to budgets, volunteers make up a vital part of the ability for them to function. You know what? You won't ever regret it. Trust me.

It is not that easy. My local hospital dramaticly cut its volunteer program due to "budget cuts"--said it would save 40,000/year from that.
