I didn't do very good with other languages. However I think it was a lot to do with my teacher. so I am wondering if I could get some... private instruction. Hmmm. that sounds like fun!

Well, surprisingly, I haven't learned sign language despite my condition. And it's even more surprising considering my sister is a sign language interpreter in a neighboring county school system. She used to work at the GA School for the Deaf. But who has time to learn a whole new language these days? From what she tells me, there is a completely different structure to ASL than English. And even if I learned to use that, most all of the people I need to interact with in society wouldn't know it either. I might just as well stick with my 'Clint Eastwood with laryngitis' voice, or just stay quiet. I suppose there are most men who would think that most of what a woman has to say isn't necessary anyhow.

It is cool to communicate with someone without ever having to say a word be it by sign language or various gestures.

I was going to ask and then didnt.

But yes the structure is vastly different. With you being mute not deaf you already have the capability of language so learning a new one isnt really a necessity as I see it.

Not getting ready to watch the Walking Dead because my fucking TV just blew! Shit! And on the way back from the range, my car began making a bad noise in the front wheel. Double shit!:mad:

Best of luck on that tire...I had a full on blow out a few weeks back...was def not fun, but didn't cause any damage, just time on the side of the road. Hope you get yours done before any incidents.

Picking out my work wordrobe for the week so that I can pack for the gym. No excuses.

Requires planning and ironing. Ugh.

And dancing around my bedroom in pjs while I do it! Yay!

Nod nod

I would have my own difficulty with using ASL. Anyone who knows a good deal about me would be able to figure that one out without a great deal of thought. Yeah I tried to take spanish but my teacher was a complete flake. She was an overpaid cheerleading coach. At my school most of the sports coaches had minor teaching roles because they were paid too much to justify just being a coach and most of them were f'ing horrible.

Mainly? I just want to be stuck in a room alone with Nina and Thyri for a prolonged period of times and forced to use my hands for... stuff. :D

Well, you know it's impolite to 'talk with your hands full'. ;)

I'm afraid this isn't a tire though. I had all four tires replaced just about a month ago, and an alignment done too. But after traveling for Thanksgiving, I've noticed vibration from the front when I put on my brakes. And now this knocking sound when I go over bumps or turn a corner. It does not bode well. But I'll have to get that fixed and see how much it costs before I can even think about replacing my TV.

-wicked laughter-

forced to use your hands... hahaha..

I want to tie them, splayed, palms up on your thighs.

-happy sigh-

Sounds like it may be something as simple as the brake caliper being out of alignment or something a little more costly as the bearings or rotors needing replacement. If you are getting the noises only when you break def sounds like its the rotors...but thats just my guess. If it is, relatively easy to do and no more than 100bucks for self install..*****, well obv will be a bit more

*is amused by the conversion about ASL. Kinda wants to talk to her mom now*

No is simple. Do a peace sign basically then bring the fingers down onto your thumb.
