What are the highst number of comments, views and favorites you've received for a story?

Views: Payback Ch. 3 247,602 views. I almost feel like it's a cheat, because it's been here on the site since 2004.

Favorites: Injured Step Sister 241 Favorites. No big surprise to me really, because it's in I/T.

Comments: An Enjoyable Thank You 53 comments. This one was a big surprise to me. It's a 750-word story I wrote for the last 750-word challenge in February. I think all the comments came became I put it in LW. Lots of arguing if it fit or not. But many comments liked it.

Comments talk makes me wish there was a better way to actually have story discussions in public with the readers who care about those stories. Comments don't serve that purpose well for lots of reasons discussed before.

My most popular story is One in Forty, a T/I story about a mother and son who cross the line out of loneliness and comfort.
It published in September 2025.
It has 46k views, 475 votes, and 70 favorites.

I have 2 stories with 18 comments. One in Forty and my very first story, A Different Kind of Valentine, that was written for the 2025 Valentine challenge.

My highest rated story is The Kitsune’s Mask, a BDSM story about a Domme who is struggling in her role. It’s got a 4.71, but only 14 votes. I think it’s my best story as far as writing ability goes, but it is in a narrow category of readership. It’s also long (27k words) and delves into more literary themes that may leave some readers cold.

my amateurish gooner first story, Penny's Physical Exam, still has the most favorites (90), ratings (409) and views (28k) of anything I've written some of that may just be the long tail effect of being my oldest story, it still occasionally gets comments and favorites a year later.

But my two most recently published stories, Vocational Awe and Dandelion Greene and the Witch of Watson County have the most comments (41 and 39, after I subtract a couple of my own comments from the total) which feels really good!

I've always assumed I have quite a low number, compared to AH members, but it's cumbersome to actually go out and count. I did today, inspired by a thread about most hateful comment (I have no hateful comments). Here are my stats. Could you tell me your highest numbers for a story?

I get the sense that the sheer volume of comments in LW can be addictive for some

and although there is a lot of bitterness and personal trauma revealed in some of those comments, there's also a lot of genuinely insightful and analytical attention given to character motivation and emotional realism in there!

You can either write write write to the point where you want the link, then open the linking tool, drop the link in, add the text and click Insert, or write what you want to say, highlight the text you want to be linked and use the link tool that way. This makes me wonder if @8letters or one of our other statistical gurus has ever broken out a ratio of comments to views by category.

Or favorites to views by category.

That might be a better indicator of how good a story is than the actual rating.
If a particularly high % of people favorited it, that should tell you something.
