Yesterday my wife asked me what she should do about Lit and the other Internet sites I visit if I were to die.
She wouldn't have a clue at present what to do or where to go.
I said I thought I'd leave a sealed envelope of instructions to be acted on by one of my daughters. They are far more computer literate than my wife is.
Should I ask the daughter to get everything deleted? Or leave everything in limbo?
I suppose I'm asking the daughter to be my literary executor. So which daughter should I choose?
1. The teacher, formerly a stockbroker, who is widely travelled but scatterbrained except when it matters.
2. The journalist who might use some of my stories but is also qualified in psychology and can be too serious for her own good.
3. The nearly-a-doctor who has a wicked sense of humour but is very responsible.
I'm inclined to choose daughter #3.
What would you want done about your stories if you died?
Og
