There are several very good threads here on Lit...so I'm sure that anything I say is simply repeating someone else, but here are the basics:

First: LUBE. LUBE. You can never, ever use enough. If you think it's too much, it is NOT. Use a good water-based lube, like Astroglide. Some other things work well, like Johnson's Baby Oil Gel, or KY Jelly. But Astroglide would be a really good choice.

There are products out there like Anal Eaze, that deaden the sensation just a little bit and make it hurt a little less. But I believe if you use enough lube and TIME, then you don't really need something like that. It's a personal choice, and if you are really nervous about hurting her it is probably an idea to look into.

TIME. Time is incredibly important. Take as much time as you need. Don't rush anything at all. If it doesn't happen the first time, that's fine. Start with one finger, lubed and gentle.
