We've been given a mandate to treat Deplorables like the garbage they are. For those who were / are hesitant to do so, watch what happens...

Trump didn't win because we called his cultists "deplorables" and "garbage". He won because not enough people were calling them that.

Hopefully a lesson has been learned here: when evil goes unchecked and isn't called out, this is the result.

As the next four years play out, keep that in mind. I sure will.

Takes a special kind if retardation to insist that one side lost an election because they didn't do enough name calling.

"Don't call people names!" they say...as they call people names.

This thread is triggering nicely. :)

We do need to bear always in mind that the word "conservative" is as demonizable as "liberal." We need to out-demonize them. Start by pretending there is no difference that matters between "conservative" and "fascist" -- which in fact grows nearer to the truth every year. Unlike the difference between "liberal" and "communist."

I can't understand how "we didn't insult him enough" is the answer to why Democrats lost this election, in any framing of the statement.

20 million less people voted than in 2020. That is the biggest reason I can see so far. Harris needed to give those voters a reason to show up for her and she didn't make the case.

It isn't. This doesn't have to do with Trump ("him"); it has to do with our citizens.

Is this you?

Sorry...maybe I should change my statement:

Do you respond to being insulted in any positive way?

It isn't about their reaction; their response makes no difference. They are delusional cultists. Besides, they have said ad nauseam that they proudly self-identify under these same "insulting" terms, so they don't consider them to be insults.

Labeling them correctly brings unity amongst those who are still thinking rationally about the dangers of things such as fascism. It places the blame in the right place. Most people have been reluctant to do so up until now, and have made excuse after excuse of how Deplorables should be let off the hook for empowering Trump, because they supposedly knew not what they did. Those excuses are dead.

yah, not aligned in any sense of the word here.

You will never gain enough votes this way to overcome grievances. People love being pissed.....but people change their votes for something else. People have no reason to.vote based on insults.

Calling more people deplorable is not the key to 2028. Certainly not 2026.

It wasn't what got you 2020 either.

But you do you.

Yep.

They’re always a MAGAt to me…

I haven’t let them “off the hook” since they KNOWINGLY voted for a criminal racist admitted sexual assaulter in 2016.

They just keep turning a darker shade of orange.

Karma will deal with every one of them.

You either have trust in our country or not. It appears you do not.

What do you in?

... votes...votes...vote...key to 2028...2026...2020...

I'm not talking about voting, for good reason.

Voting arguably worked yesterday, but do you think the future is being set for a truly functional democracy where that will even matter? The fact that a self-proclaimed "dictator for a day" is about to take the reigns at the request of the popular majority gives one pause.

"What I do in"?

Adults are talking; stay in your lane, freakshow. (I call you "freakshow" because Deplorables have proven it's not only okay, but advantageous to belittle every flavor other than vanilla. Take it up with them.)

Oh fun....... You don't want voting to decide things anymore....

I guess I should wish you well in your revolt. I was told Jan 6 is a good date.
