I really do have it.

I went to the doc earlier this week because I've been feeling like dirt. They poked and prodded and drew blood and I didn't even get a lollipop.

I heard back from my doc this afternoon with the results from the blood tests. I have it.

Mostly it's flu-like symptoms like swollen glands, fever, dehydration, etc. but one of the more enjoyable aspects of it <cough> is what my doctor termed "complete and utter debilitating fatigue." On the extreme side, it can cause permanent neurological damage. Mine is definitely not a severe case, but it's not fun, nonetheless.

She doesn't have to be kidding. We just had our 3rd death from it this summer (and a lot more infections that haven't been fatal). It's mosquito carried. McKenna, if you're not it is more dangerous to those that are very young, very old, or have health issues. Get lots of rest, eat healthy and have a strong healthy man come wait on you hand and foot *looks around for volunteers*

Thanks all, mostly I'm just tired. No, scratch that, it's more like I'm T-I-R-E-D. I've been sleeping more than I'm awake, most days.
