So what kinda cool stuff did you get this year??

I got several Foodsaver bulk food canisters
a new gold and silver bracelet
a new robe and Spongebob jammies
a $100 gift card for Bath and Body Works
a Coach purse.

waffle iron, crock pot, and a dvd player... cool and needed and wanted....

but unexpected - the earrings i thought would be left til my college graduation. they mean so much to me, i don't want to wear them, afraid that i will lose them. You see, when I was 12, my grandparents took my couisins and i sapphire mining in montana... the old mines, they just had gone through, taken the big stuff and left it stripped, open and waiting for campers to come, pay a few bucks to be given a pick, a bucket and those old shaking things - to shift through the dirt, pebbles, and sand. we all found several sapphires. gramma had them cut for us and held onto them until an age where we could responsibly keep track of them. i finally got mine, two lovely 1/2 carot montana sapphire studs. they're so light blue they're almost a light green. and for silly little rocks, they have a lot of emotional attachment

I got a pop corn popper, an electric grill, a bottle of champange, a faerie calander, clothes, an money. My Scottish granny gave me money and told me to buy something naughty. Anyone have any ideas?

I was naughty in the nicest ways, I guess,

I got lots of pretty lady stuff from friends and family. Clothes, jewelry, perfume, nighties and that sort of thing. My children were very involved in gift giving this year and made all sorts of odds and ends when I wasn't looking. All to be saved.

And scooter gave me a beautiful sterling silver and turquoise bracelet.

I got so much this year and it made me feel special

I got an amethist ring, a cobalt vase, a gameboy and a game (yes i am a kid at heart), some clothes, a really cool foam pillow that molds to my head, lord of the ring action figures (my brother is a nut but a thoughtful one), a few good books, a leather journal, a corsette, cash, and a few necessary odds and ends

I must have been exceptional this year to recieve so much and all the love that came with it
