...your are right, LM, because cold water is deadly for a man´s standing indeed, but inevitably leads to standings at the womans´s side...I see you speak from expericence...you seem to have been thrown into a cold pool already a few times together with a male partner and compared afterwards...

but don´t cheer too early, LM, because you are not right the same time,
...because afterwards, being in warmth again, all that is standable at you and me will come to stand to its fullest...thus cold water followed by warmth finally leads to a wonderful standing of all standable parts...that´s called apres-pool, perhaps you´ve heard about it...
