WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Donald Trump fired Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin Wednesday in the wake of a bruising ethics scandal and a mounting rebellion within the agency, and nominated White House doctor Ronny Jackson to lead it.

Did Tromp call Shulkin into his office and say, YOU'RE FIRED! Or did he fire off a tweet from bed to let Shulkin know he was redundant? (The latter.) How often does Tromp work up the balls to actually fire people in person? (Zero times. He doesn't do that in person. Don't call it cowardice.)

Meanwhile, is it amateur hour again at the VA, or does White House doctor and newly-minted admiral Ronny Jackson have any experience managing large organizations? (Apparently not.) Watch out! He's an Obama holdover.

When my telco-exec uncle returned from vacation, his name was gone from his office door and mail cranny. His boss was 'unavailable'; a low-level receptionist handed him a note saying he'd been "retired early". I thought that was a shitty way to get fired. Tromp takes it to a different level.
