Correct me if I am wrong, but the house's act of Impeachment, ( voting for, or against) is not a trial? It is not even a "criminal" matter, but a political matter, so it does not need to have the Miranda rights read to the President, nor does it need to enter evidence, or even offer the President the opportunity to deny. No need to follow "due" process as laid out in the constitution, since "Impeachment" is truly a political remedy.



The actual Trial portion is held in the Senate.

1) It was a political trial, not a criminal one. SO DUE PROCESS IS A BULLSHIT CLAIM!

2) The constitution says the house gets to set it's own rules for the trial. WHICH THEY DID SO IT WAS CONSTITUTIONAL!
