Heh, it's either a really lousy story or people who really liked my Kiefer Collection are pissed at me. Either way, Goodbye to the Dream is down in the 2.0 area code in the voting department.

Ah well. Ya win some, ya loose some. Never fear, I've got another series in mind.

Maybe your readers are pissed that you're finishing a series they wanted to go on?

When Sir Auther Conana Doyle killed off his most famous character, Sherlock Homes people went nuts. He got hate mail and even death threats. People become attached to characters, especially when those characters are strongly written and seem to be alive. Take the low votes as the sincerest of compliments on your work, people don't want to say goodbye to characters who have become friends.

Thanks, guys.

What happened was, I ran out of ideas for new stories. I alreay had to rewrite the sixth one because it was getting way too morbid even for me.

I figured that if that was a dream, I could basically put it on a back shelf and, when I'm done with Gaelic rogue, bring her back to meet Kiefer Sutherland for real this time. *shrug*

I dont know. It's an idea.

Basically, I'm keeping Diane Taylor.. my Main character. I'm just not doing the Kiefer angle. :;)

She's going to reappear in the Gaelic Rogue series. with Gerard Butler.. Yum Yum

Keep in touch,

"Misery"..!

Yeah, I remember what Kathy Bates did with that sledgehammer! Nothing erotic about that. Imagine writing under that kind of pressure.

Hi there, Bardslady! How you doing?

Lou

Doing okay, Tatelou.

Just hanging out and letting my fingers roam over my keyboard to write more interesting fan fiction stories for Literotica.com

That and working out some good scenes in the Sequel to my first NanoWrimo novel. Muahahaha.

Yes, I'm insane, but I think I like it.

Nice one! Glad to see you are maintaining your forward momentum. :D

I'm still writing my NaNo novel!

Wait a sec... Sherlock Holmes died? What about Dr. Watson? He make it out okay at least?

Seriously - thanks for the heads up. I'm in the process of finishing up and ending a series of mine too. The ending is fitting but being on Literotica (Incest, no less), it will leave a lot of people, ummm, with a limpness in hand, so to speak. My scores took a hit the last time I did that - I can imagine it being worse this time. There's much more teasing this time around.

Any detachment for seperating from such an intimatly written character?

Well, I am taking my main char acter and the first person POV into another series of stories. I do fan fiction, Flawed. I'm starting to think that, when you end a series and the voting points take a nosedive, it's the best form of compliment you could ever have. Friends like Tatelou taught me that.

It basically means that people are pissed that you decided to end the series, not that they hate your writing. hehehe

Ah well, I'm still working on my next series. The Gaelic Rogue starring Gerard Butler and my main character.
