Since I have watched TV, listened to the news or the radio to work, and.....gasp.....read a paper.

(heehee...I almost said litsend....)


I used to be news junkie. I just had to know what was going on in the world that the liberal press seemed fit to think that I was capable of hearing.

And Guess what.....???

Life is the same. I still complain bout the price of gas and the cost of food and....well that's just it. I got just 'bout nothing else to complain 'bout 'cept my job which has kept me from listenin to the news during the day.


Maybe....ignorance IS bliss...........

Welcome to the club.

I was like you--a news and talk radio junkie 'till about 8 months ago. Then it finally dawned on me I was getting irritated 24/7/365 over things I could do exactly 0 about. So I quit cold turkey and havent missed it a bit.

Now I just listen to music and mellow out.

I guess the world is getting along fine without me--and me without it.

I don't watch TV at all, never mind the news. And the only radio station I listen to is French so I can't understand most of what they're saying.

I actually quit watching the news after the last election. I'm still an angry and bitter liberal. I just stay out of political discussions now because I'm not informed. I don't need that anger in my life.

Radio Sing Sing is one of the streaming radio stations on iTunes on my Mac. A lovely eclectic mix they play.
