the short of it:
got excellent job, immersed self in fabulous job, had no free time, got into some trouble, got back out, reflected, changed some things, continued with job, grew leaps and bounds spiritually/mentally, and now I'm checking back with things that were once very interesting and important, to see if perhaps now they can be that again.

I came to the bulletin board after I was thrown out of the chatroom. Of course my primary objective was sexual, but the non-sexual topics and humor is what kept bringing me back time and time again. I like the idea that you can discuss whatever varied interests you might have, and have the blessed freedom to wiggle your weinie at people too. Try that in RL.

I'm not sure if there's a lot of cross-pollination (is that a word?) between the BB and Chat, because I'm "Purple Haze" over here and "Granite Pee-pee" over there (I can't remember anymore). I much prefer the people and pace over here.

I was going to make some smart ass response on this thread... but after reading it three or four times and doing as Madam said... I looked back in history and noticed this can of thread poping up everywhere when the board got quite.

It seems that when the board gets quite, these angry thought provoking threads appear... I am at a loss why... but I am new and I will just bear witness to this and see what the turn out shall be... I must say that if you wish to start a thread that is going to cause such a reaction. Why not make one on subjects that people can voice a trully honest thought. Instead of thoughtless angry or rage, of no use... to fight over that fact that a few people or flirting or screwing around is shortly lame. But to start something over, child care, aboration, crime, peoples rights... etc.. would bring more benifet to the board and to the peole who wish to really responde to a honestly good topic... if you wish to flirt or screw around, do so.... but just move to the next topic if you do't like what you see...

And as being a good thrasher... well I am not one to say... I just type my mind and well my mind is FUCKED..and it works...

I haven't been around much myself lately. I've been very busy offline. Also, I've been doing my best to "Ignore That Which Bored Me," but have found that I've been ignoring about 98% of the threads. I've been trying to decide whether it was because they WERE boring, or whether the topics had actually remained the same and I had just evolved in some way away from them. I think it's probably a combination of both.

I will most likely do as DCL and just wait for The Change. It always comes. But it is interesting that no one flipped out on this thread. That's usually par for this sort of thing.

I come here for fun, but also for the serious threads. I like that there are a lot of smart people here with a lot of different opinions on many subjects. It makes me think about and challenge my own beliefs when someone else I respect holds beliefs completely different from my own. I like being able to ask for help on almost any topic and get a wide variety of responses. I like that there is a wide cross section of people here from many walks of life and from around the world. Where in RL but the U.N. can you find that?
