to Texas in about a hour for my face to face interview with a prospective employer, all expenses paid. I will be meeting some new people and a couple of old friends.

I hope all goes well, although I'm fairly confident that it will as I know the system I will be work on inside out...seeing as I coded so much of it.

Wish me luck and I'll let you all know how it goes...tomorrow night, as I will be offline until I get back.

Thanks for the luck...

The interview went well, they didn't make an offer on the spot as everyone I talked too has to get together with out me to discuss what they thought. The guy who will be my boss said he liked me and thought I could handle the job. He just has to talk to his boss.

We talked salary and availability and he would like me to start on the first of December once an offer is made.

This is a big step but one I have made in the past.

More to come...

I have to go help with the grandkids.

I received an offer today, which I have accepted, for the job down in Texas. :D

Two weeks from now I will be living in Texas.

Congrats on the new job, Zeb. :nana:

Seems like a lot of Litizens are moving to the Lone Star State. You all can have your own Litogether. :D

Bless you my son.

Texass is a great place to be from, far from :D
Says the guy that left NM 11 years ago

Thank you all.

I have been to Texas before. Stationed at Lackland AFB back in the mid 70's. I have also visited several times, mostly Dallas.

I have a buddy I used to work with living in Austin.

So I'm not unfamiliar with the people or the state. Just now I'll be living in the hurricane corridor instead of the tornado corridor.

I see I have a new Neighbor.

There goes the neighborhood

:D

If you're North of Houston, let me know.
