The Sydney Morning Herald, the premier conservative paper in Oz, said it all on the front page today, Saturday 21 September 2002.

quote

Bush: how I'll rule the world.

The Bush Administration has spelt out its determination to enforce America's global domination, insisting it will allow no other power to challenge its military and economic supremacy.

For all the Americans unable to get a copy of the official policy published under the Seal of the President of the United States of America, signed by George Bush, (I presume Dubyah) and dated 17 September 2002, check out the Oz website below . . . our press is not censored like other countries.

When you get to the website, check out the five main stories, the editorial, and two commentary articles under the OPINION prompt.

The same could be said about Russia, China, Pakistan, India, so I suppose we should add them to the list too?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for ousting Saddam but I think Bush needs to follow the guidelines so that the U.S. doesn't get labelled as terrorists also. That's all.

My theory:

I think that Bush just has a small dick and is trying to make up for it by tring to take over the world, like Hitler and his one nut: not man enough, must prove it! Or Napolian: short, nust get France, then all of Europe. But like every one else, he'll kill people just to feel important, or more manly. More women should run for higher positions in government!

Hear! Hear! The Lady is wise. Like my Suzi, that is. :)

Actually, the reason someone like Russia or China shouldn't be added to that list is that there is, truly, little danger of them getting a bug up their ass one day and deciding to use what they may have. Certaintly, there is always some kind of danger from another nuclear power, but Sadaam has shown that he'll try to kill off scores of his own people and invade other countries.. certaintly not a stable gov't.

As for Pakistan or India, the only people that have to worry about their nuclear weapons is themselves. Neither of them are going to open up on us any time soon, only each other.

I hear you, but Bush does have a point about the rhetoric being espoused by Saddam about allowing UN inspectors in.

It aint gonna happen.

Actually, Saddam's being very cunning. Having publicly said the UN can come in, it forces the US onto the back foot.

Exactly. Sadaam has had 11 years to allow the inspectors in, and hasn't yet. He's not going to suddenly decide they can wander freely around his country discovering his dirty little secrets.

I think he's just buying time to get The Supreme Republican Guard, or whatever they're called, ready to defend his sandy ass for when we attack. The Republican Guard, they're thinking, are going to be forced out of the city by Sadaam because he doesn't trust them anymore.

All this UN Inspectors crap he's saying now is just stalling. It's like chess. He's setting up his pieces the way he wants them so he'll have the best defense when our Queens and Knights and Bishops start raining holy hell down onto him.

surely, in the face of such critical events, you can do better than that.

I'm worried about the size of Bush's brain, not his penis. Fucker thinks he's in the wild wild west or something. This vigilante shit has western european allies speaking out against us, and for good reason. "Regime change?" Give me a fucking break. This is madness! And the worst of it is, even if he "succeeds" and removes Saddam from power, our problems on the world stage will be worse than ever, not greater. He will have galvanized the entire middle east against us, without any moderation from pakistan or anywhere else, and our allies in NATO and the UN will be distancing themselves from us.

The man is frigging moron. That in itself is not a problem. Our country has survived stupid presidents before. But ever since 9/11, he's a moron w/a crisis to handle. We've got problems.

Russia and China are forming an alliance with the intention of reducing the United States presence outside of it's borders.

THAT SHOULD GIVE YOU ALL GREAT COMFORT!

Russia has already stated that they won't back up the U.S. if Bush does it "his way".

I think a return to isolationism by the United States may restore some clearer thinking to the world's EU-style intellectuals.

One could hope.

By "Western European Allies," do you mean people like France and Germany? I mean... you'd have a point there, except... well, they've not exactly been supportive of us in the past. This is neither new, or unexpected. And really, who wants France joining you in a war anyway? It's like... dead weight.

As for the Middle East... with the exception of Israel, and possibly Pakistan, who there isn't against us? Saudi Arabia? Right. Kuwait? You'd think, after we saved their happy asses, but no quite. Most of their citizens don't even think it's wrong to kill American citizens.

The UN isn't going to do anything about this anyway. It's their own mandates being broken, but they apparently don't care. Kofi Annan, you see, likes winning the Nobel Peace Prize. Fighting battles doesn't win you Peace Prizes, and there's no Nobel Fighting Prize, so he'll just kindly stay out of things.

But, I suppose we could wait and let Sadaam do as he pleases. Maybe then, we won't have a Middle East to worry about at all.

Russia not backing us! Who'da thunk? By the way... They are getting ready to invade one of their OWN NEIGHBORS!

Where's the uproar?

Chinese not backing us either. But then, they're busy antagonizing Taiwan and trying to soften it up for invasion.

Where's the uproar?

Russia also signed a big economic deal with Iraq recently.. much like the French. It's not a big shock that they're not too keen on getting rid of Sadaam.

US invades Iraq.

While its back's turned, Pakistan lobs a nuke over the Line Of Control into India. Or vice versa, you choose.

Simultaneously, China whips a ballistic missile across the Strait into Taiwan.

Israel and Palestine get even downer 'n' dirtier.

I could go on.

Turns me on just thinking about it...
