"We'll always have Paris..."

One of the all time greatest movies.

"Mostly, I remember the last one, the wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain, with a comical look on his face, because his insides have been kicked out. "

Isnt paris that place where all the rude people live?

.. you know the ones that get all pissy if you "Murder their language" by talking to them?

What's that one where she calls him "Steve" through the whole movie?

Not everyone who lives in Paris is rude, they just dislike ignorant, yuppie Americans! Besides there are lots of really rude Parisians, now living in the U.S. For example my grandmother, her whole day involves insulting Americans!

"I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that. "

That my dear, you'll have to find out for yourself, but do report back to me, ok? ;-)

Thank you.

Ingrid Bergman in Spellbound. Even as a kid she captivated me. Less fond of her in a 'romantic' role but damn hse is an interesting woman.

I love it

Yes, thank you...I think that's a far more enjoyable movie about a man & woman in love than Casablanca. Grrr!

God I love Tivo.

I just did a search and Spellbound is showing on the 28th and will be recorded for my viewing pleasure.

Thank you Mouseman and Lance.

What a great movie!

Capt Renault: What brings you to Casablanca?
Rick: I came for my health. I heard about the healing waters.
Capt Renault: What waters? We are in the middle of the desert!
Rick: <shrugs> I was misinformed.

*sigh*

Totally in the mood to watch Casablanca tonight too....with a nice bottle of Chardonnay and a box of kleenex...

Too bad my vcr is broken :(
