Welcoming Our New Co-moderator

Yay, we now have 2 moderators again!! I would like to personally welcome Marquis to the position of co-moderator and hope we do not keep him too busy getting his feet wet. I for one am looking forward to working with him and have told him dress is casual, and of course know some of you ladies will not mind if he doesn't dress at all. Sorry Marquis, couldn't resist.

Having been a mod myself (at another site/forum), i know it's not always easy, and can be a very time consuming task. Catalina, you do a great job in your position as a moderator and i'm happy to hear that Marquis will be assisting in what can sometimes be an overwhelming workload.

My appreciation goes out to you, Catalina ... as well as a very big congratulatory welcoming to

LOL, you just never know who might be peeking!! hopefully. Thanks for the thoughtful words for moi, and am sure Marquis will be an asset in many ways. Has been difficult keeping this cat in the bag until it was official!!

Being quite new to this site and internet forums in general (it always takes that little bit longer for the penny to drop with me!) I'm not exactly sure what it is that a moderator does but I've got a sneaking suspicion that it involves WORK and Repsonsibility Marquis, are you sure you're not a masochist?

LOL, yes it will be nice though there is usually not much moderating to do here except the occasional SPAM and misplaced personal....and if I am not around thankfully I have found the posters here deal with it as far as they can which works well and gives ownership and responsibility for moderating to all. Considering the level of moderating that happens here, mostly because the site does not want heavy moderating and it is not my style, I still wonder why they insist on moderators....perhaps it is the size of the site and the need to make sure there is nothing happening for which they could be made answerable. I think apart from one other private board which is very heavily moderated for a reason, this is the only BDSM one out of many I frequent which does have mods. I was approached though by one of them recently to moderate another BDSM board, but didn't accept as I don't believe they need one, at least not at this stage.

Well, i have nothing to worry about here as i am always well behaved. BUT, seeing as how he'd need to rely on his computer, and keyboard ...
