So I do have a question that I have been wondering for about a year now. I went to a local adult toy shop and the lady working there recommended that I try a product that makes your penis extremely sensitive. It comes in this small bottle and apparently, you just place one drop on the head of your penis and you're in ectasy.

I dunno... My gut instinct is that it could be harmful. I told her my concerns and she assured me that it was safe.

I can't find any links online for whatever reason. But does anyone know about these products? Are they safe? And do they really actually feel good?

Usually it's just peppermint oil or the chemical equivalent, watered down and with further ingredients to get the right consistency and product stability. You can check the contents of the product - if there is menthyl lactate in there, you have found your "sensitizing" component in the mix.

Strange. For years I saw tons of ads for "de-sensitizers" to help prevent premature ejaculation. Just me but I'd be a little hesitant to put chemicals on my dick other than soap and water.

This is usually the same idea as a "warming lube" - peppermint oil aka menthol, ginger extract, or even pepper oil. These things are all foods, you can avoid any odd chemicals by using a natural version. Try them in the shower so you can immediately wash them off if you find the sensation more painful than pleasurable.

just a thought but if it's in food would it not be much more fun to try it in your lover's mouth than in a little bottle?
I remember reading a very provocative bit of fiction about a woman biting into a hot pepper before taking her man in her mouth. That simply wouldn't work for me because I can't abide hot peppers but then again I don't know many guys who would be keen on the experiment.
Sucking a strong peppermint candy first might be fun though.

Don,t pay these outrageous prices for this garbage, try a little bit of toothpaste, it works wonders

I actually used some of this back in the seventies. It worked, sorta, in the sense that it numbed my dick real good. My lady complained that when I entered her, it numbed her, too. Then we tried it where I'd put it on and then use a rubber. That solved the problem for her, but I couldn't feel a goddamn thing. Talk about eating a candy bar with the wrapper on.
