Why do people tailgate you even though you are going faster than the speed limit then go tearing aound you at 90 mph just to slow down to less than the speed limit as soon as they are in front?

Why do food suppliers state the obvious?
on a packet of nuts: "Warning; contains nuts" ?

One reason: Lawyers.

That probably was the result of some lawsuit somewhere or a lawyer afraid of a potential lawsuit.

The same reason why McDonald's puts "Caution Contents Hot" on all its coffee and tea cups.

Because they all think the stories are all true and there will always be a sequel.

Ah, is that the reason behind it? Good to know. LOL.

Oh, and I have an observation.

Kids have this inborn sense of when a parent is on the phone. They can have spent the past hour not bothering you at all, but the minute you get on the phone, they think of a million questions they have to ask right that minute. Never fails. I usually have to either go into the bathroom or my bedroom and shut the door to have a half-way private conversation and even then, they knock on the door.

So do parents. I'll sit next to my phone for an hour, as soon as I get up to pee and am on the pot with my pants down my mom will call. Never fails

(Or she calls when I'm merging onto the interstate next to a cop)
