Weird girl stories

To paraphrase Ellen Raskin, only the rich are eccentric. The poor are just crazy :)

Poor Sasha in Crazy Camping Neighbor is described as having "dissociative identity disorder with the other personality a drunk parrot"

So many damn stories, so little time.

I try to bounce around and read from as many of you fine folks as I can.

More to add to my ever growing list I suppose 😆
Actually, in my spare time (when not writing here) I started Charles Bukowski's Hollywood, loosely based on his experiences out there writing the screenplay for Barfly (starring Mickey Rourke and Faye Dunaway.) My apologies to other Lit writers. (Actually, he spent a good chunk of his life living in Los Angeles, so he didn't have to travel very far.)

Got any female characters that are unapologetically eccentric?

Tell me about em and leave a link!
I feel like people are probably sick of me talking about this story, but Anjali from Red Scarf is an autistic woman who's big on astronomy and awful puns. The narrator, Sarah, is also autistic and unapologetic about info-dumping on topics like graph theory and shipping logistics in the middle of a porn story.

Dr. Marchand from The Floggings Will Continue... is "unapologetically eccentric" in the sense that she will cheerfully fuck up a roomful of people without an ounce of remorse, armed with nothing more than some butcher paper and colour markers, but I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.

@AwkwardMD’s Eve is eccentric but so lovely: https://www.literotica.com/s/a-midautumn-nights-dream

She has others that fit the description but that was on my mind today.

I browsed through my own story list but I don’t think I have any. I think of eccentric as being a kind of cheerfully wonky, and mine are all kind of gloomily so if at all 😁

In my We're a Wonderful Wife series, Kim-ly, the sister of the FMC is a voyeur, she's madly in love with her sister's husband and her sister, and she's actually part of their marriage. Here's a 750 with Lanh, Don, and Kim-ly

Not to be outdone, in my Stormwatch series is Veronica, a former model and beauty pageant contestant, now an executive, she has the GREATEST way to keep score when playing pool against her bi girlfriend. She's also a closet exhibitionist and she doesn't mind if someone's watching when she's chopping wood with her fiancé

For Summer Lovin' 2023 entry I'm doing a crossover between the We're a Wonderful Wife and Stormwatch series and Veronica and Kim-ly will meet.

I think my most eccentric female character is Cozbi, from The Devil And Angel Em.

Of course, she's not just a woman, but a demon from hell, so it stands to reason she's more than a little out there in her sexual tastes.

I did have a demon on another site - I'd say it was male? - because they had a competition that sort of required a supernatural theme. Not that pleased with the results, because it was outside my usual interests.

You could read any of my stories to find out about my MFC, who most commenters hate because of her unapologetic behaviors. But my latest story has the most comments about her (and it's been out for less than 36 hours!)

She uses men, and has no problem exploiting them.

She'll con her husband into doing something by saying "could you do this for me? After all, I'm only a woman."
As he does the chore, trying to explain how he does it so she can do it herself, she says "I like my way better."
He realizes then "you mean, hand it to me to do it for you."

For a quick read, try "My Busy Day - 750 Words", or try "A Different Proposition - 750 Words".

Thanks so much, Smutty! Glad you enjoyed it. I tried to base the character's "eccentric" behavior on real conditions and avoid making her a Manic Pixie Dream Girl.
Mission accomplished. You did well. I liked that she was troubled, but not irredeemable. And she was still someone that he realized he could love.

Most of my characters are a bit off the bubble! I can't imagine where they get it from. :cattail:

The main character in The Letter Opener is very high strung, deeply obsessive, and will never, ever break a promise.

Jordan in The Tree Hugger finds it easier to like, and to love, plants than people.

And all the characters in my unfinished Lesbian Vampire Wars stories have their own kinks, quirks, and confusions......Morgana:rose:

That's me! I'm the girl who infodumps about Australian wildlife and the prevalence of frogs during sex! That's 100% an autistic thing :D

All my characters are... well, strange (...😇...) but the most eccentric one is probably Lucy from Oh Hell. She is socially challenged, but makes up for it with unyielding enthusiasm.

Australian wildlife is great! What's your favourite?

(I kinda wanna start a meetup thing where autistic people get to yammer about our interests without having to worry about whether we're sounding too enthusiastic about them)

My favorite unfortunately went extinct due to human activity in the 2000s. There's an effort to bring it back by splicing DNA with its closest living relative.

It's the gastric brooding frog. They lay eggs, swallow the eggs, foster the tadpoles in the stomach and then vomit up the little froglettes. It's really cool.
