Just an FYI for myself: It generally looks like no new stories are published on Saturdays and Sundays. I'm assuming that is UK time.

There have been close to a hundred (almost 2 pages) stories published today, on Saturday. The go-live time is usually morning UTC (7am?).

If you mean that no stories are approved for publication on weekends, though, then yes, that has been my experience as well. If you submit something on Friday, it almost certainly won't get touched until Monday.

Yes, the publication time seems to be pretty consistently 7 a.m. UTC, and I don't think I've seen a day when there isn't a page or two of new releases. (I check New once a day in the vague hope of seeing something worth reading.)

Hmm, I have a couple of chapters in my Daughter of Lilith series that are pending, one for almost a month, and I tell myself not to bother seeing if they have been published until Monday or after Friday.

The clocks went forward last night in the UK, so if OP checked at 7am when they usually go live, they wouldn't have for another hour because of the increased difference re LitTimeZone.

If the status is "Pending," and has been for a considerable time, then the stories have fallen into the mysterious twilight zone of not getting processed. So it's not an issue about new stories appearing over a weekend, they get posted every day, it's that your stories haven't been processed to move to "New" (if approved, and will appear on the next day's new releases) or returned to you for some issue. As you've posted plenty of stories, it's likely the first issue. And, no, it's nothing personal. It's been hitting long-publishing authors as well as newbies.

You can try to PM Laurel, or, although it used to be against normal advice, pull back the current submission and resubmit. This has worked to 'unjam' some stories.

This has been discussed in a number of AH threads, scroll or search for "long publishing times" or similar.

Hmm, Wombat. I did all of the above. And submitted a new chapter after the one that is hanging. Now both are in limbo. I'll finish my next chapter and see what happens. And the series was perking along and got my highest rating for a while.
