Weekends....

What do you plan to do on weekends?

Saturday I drove 400km to pick up a new car for my daughter and then came home to do a bit of housework.
Today (Sunday - I am ahead of most of you) is going to be spent replacing the water pump on my 35 yr old Ford.... will do an engine and radiator flush as well.

Most weekends I get to relax though. A good book, a glass or 3 of Merlot, playing around on the net, maybe go out for a meal, time with my kids and grandbabies... that sort of thing.
Are your weekends spent working or relaxing?

until i gave up working at the shop, every saturday was work and sunday was all about catching up on housework/cooking, lit poetry and extra time with H.

now all week long it's a juggling act of temp work hunting, keeping on top of house and garden chores, engaging with professionals re my 2 at homes, sorting out the assignment of tenancy and desired swap to a flat for them as i wait for the k1 visa to be completed.
some of this can be done on the laptop, so i sometimes have lit open and dive in every now and again though i've hardly written a thing but i get to chat even more with H

today I have rehomed the 2 snakes my older at home took on over a year ago but lost interest in a few months back.

This weekend I'm not doing much. Next weekend I'm booked with a band I've never worked with before, but I think will be quite fun.

My weekends are always a mixture of getting orders out the door, researching new recipes, working on my yard, and hanging out with whatever family is home. I do a few hours of my 9-5 job work in the evenings if I need to.

My weekends lately consists of packing up and selling stuff I don't want to move. Moving back to Lanceland.

Laundry. My life is full of excitement.

Laundry, groceries, and taco bell are the only things I have to move for.

I love to watch movies and my Nascar race is on Sunday.


Here lately, I've wanted to go for a drive and take my dog. I need to get out of the house more. I've not wanted to lately.
