Weekend vacation for us

I am working ALL summer so Jennifer and I cannot go anywhere for a vacation.

I am going to take her to a water park near the Columbus Zoo called Zoombezi Bay on a Saturday in July. I am so excited. She is going to ask several of her friends if they want to go with us. I have asked a friend of mine if she wants to meet us there.

I know it's silly to get excited over a one day vacation but I am.

Sounds like fun

We're considering something similar as the Man is scheduled to be away on business alot over the summer. He just left on another one this evening and won't be back until Friday night. He was originally booked to be there until Saturday until he said his boss would have to clear it with me.

Not really sure, may take the wenchlets and head to a Niagara on the Lake bed & breakfast.

They enjoyed Great Wolf Lodge but that was several years ago. Plus, I have a new bikini to try out. The wenchlets do as well despite their father's protests!

That reminds me, I had been to Disney something like 5 or 6 times before I realized they had a water park. A testament to my keen powers of observation.

Also, I've never been on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Why is that? For the life of me I can't think of why. Just one of those things I guess. Been on the damn Dumbo ride like a thousand times but not the pirate one.

Know what I like? Those lazy river deals they have at water parks where you just chill out in a tube and float along with the current. That's nice.
Most seem to have a hidden little pool/hot tub for the adults that's secreted away in the center somewhere. I always call it the swinger pool.
