At our wedding my wife and I each made an Album of song to be played. I thought I would share these with you all there is only one by a purly Australian so you should know most of them.

I would be interested to know how may of them you would all give a run at your own wedding.

So remember to vote for your favorite album :)

I was going to vote "his songs" because men usually have better taste in music, but finding the lists of songs, I realized that this man has much worst taste at least for a wedding. I mean "Killing me softly"? For a wedding?

Sorry Mike, but I prefer your wifes choice in songs.

I did like your choice of "When I'm 64". It shows your commitment to your marriage.

I like some songs on the His list, and some songs on the Her's list.

I would probably make a mix of both of them if I was going to do something like that.

Not sure when the lovely day was .... but Congrats to you both !

( Mine is going to be soon :D  :rose: )

Your Song, Elton John. One of my faves

That and the one by Rod Stewart, I just can't remember the name of it.......you know, You're my lover, you're my best friend... that one!

Damn, that's a lot of dreck. Hafta go with her list, because it DOESN'T have "Wind Beneath My Wings" (probably the most objectionable song ever recorded) or Richard Marx.

And TWO Bette Midler songs? Are you actually gay? You should tell her now, save a lot of heartbreak.

Now the dilema my wife faced was putting together the songs I liked in a group she thought would be acceptable at the wedding. Killing me softly was the lesser of many evils.

I xcan not understand to this day what was wrong with the Bay City Roller , The Partridge Family, Paper Lace, Abba I mean really they were popular....well in my day they were just cos she is 5 years younger.

Well im sure as my tatse in music become more clear you will under stand how that song made the list.

Really what is wrong with I think I Love by the Partridge family.

The Rose was my sorority song...I voted for your list for that sole reason (somehow I always teared up when we sang it...I'm a closet cheese-ball).

Nonetheless, I think both lists are missing "Its getting hot in here" by Nelly.

S A T U R D A Y NIGHT!!!!!

Some of those songs are nice, and some are "just bland & overused wedding songs".

Combine the lists, and weed out 5 or so from each list, and maybe that'll be a good comprimise?

How could both of you have missed "Another one bites the dust" by Queen?

Thank God, no Celebrate or We Are Family! God I hate those 2 songs.

We did our first dance to Old Cape Cod as that's where we met.
