Trying to send simple personal message to author but getting webmaster warning about inappropriate content.

Send a PM to Laurel, explaining the problem. It might trigger the warning - I guess you'll find out.

This is the first I've heard of such a warning, or the suggestion of PMs being scanned for content. I wonder what was triggering it?

Who is Laurel? How do I send a PM to her? The way the warning reads it may be based upon a complaint from someone, but I have not sent anything inappropriate to anyone. Routine positive comments. Gotta be a mistake. But, it's blocking my PM capability.

Thanks for your suggestion and help, but I've tried initiating "conversation" with Laurel to no avail. No reply. Is there a webmaster link somewhere?

Unfortunately not. Communication isn't the Web administration's strong point.

No. A PM is the only way to get in contact with her. You have to keep trying - stay polite.

Thank you all for trying to help me. Suddenly the blockage has been lifted with no explanation. I'm grateful.

Once again I am being inexplicably being blocked from PM for inappropriate messaging. Happened back in June as well, then mysteriously went away. I have only posted complimentary PMs to authors. Nothing inappropriate. pMs to Laurel are being similarly blocked. Can anybody help?

Hi! I've also just recently been tagged as a spam. How long did the blocking go away? Does this mean I can't send PMs?
