Does anyone know a web site were you can go to see if an online store is legit, rated well, or a scam?
Bisrate, BBB don't find it. It's "microsoftdownloadcenter.net" which I know is not related to Microsoft in any way.

I just googled it, but from what I can tell, it doesn't seem to be a U.S. based company that's selling software that's legal in the U.S. (the bootlegged copies may be legal in China, or wherever they're coming from). So, basically, you're likely just paying someone for stolen stuff, and you may or may not get what you're promised.

Thanks

But I'm wondering how you/we can research a site to see if it is legit, for now and future reference.

I had my concerns about this one too. That's why I was asking. A friend wants to buy XP Pro SP3 so I can make his Windoze 7 dual bootable.
I found Tek-Micro but he said they had some bad reviews.

So, do you know a good, safe place to purchase Genuine XP Pro SP3 COA at?

Do you think E-Bay

would be safer? I do. At least you could see seller reviews.
Yeah, I googled it too, and could find nothing!
