I'm uncertain where else to ask this, so I'm placing it here. If someone wishes to direct me to the correct forum, that would be appreciated.
So, I have a couple stories that are set in an erotic artist's particular universe I want to submit. It's an artist that's not on here. While one story I feel I can mention without mentioning the artist directly, one of them is an essentially an "unofficial" episode set in the artist's storyline and requires at least some reading of prior stories on the artist's site to understand it. My solution would be to simply put the artist's site (which is their own domain.com) up in the preface to the story as a copy-and-paste text. However, the Written Guidelines say no web addresses for some reason.
How do I resolve this problem? Not mentioning prior episodes would mean a total re-write of the story, which I don't want to do.
