Weather... or not...

I know I shouldn't post when I'm drunk, but walking home from the bar in the middle of high winds and rain and tornado warnings tonight made me wonder: how many of you find storms incredibly arousing?

Not arousing for me but I do feel like a kid, watching the lightning and listening to the rumble of thunder. If the lights go out I light candles and get cozy on the couch with my blanket. Unfortunately, we have had no such storms here of late and no tornado warnings, period!

I haven't been anywhere near many real wild storms in my life and those very few i've had the great good fortune to witness, to be close to, have fascinated me in an elemental manner. They've fascinated me from an intellectual perpsective and at an almost primal emotional level, too. In each case, my body reacted to the thunder and lightning and wild crazy electricity in the air almost as if sex was in the offing.

we never get any of that on our side of the atlantic tis a shame

we occassionally get high winds or a bit of lightning

it is nice being inside when it is lightning you feel really really secure and safe

i once walked down my high street when we had forked lightning(very rare) while on acid which was fantastic to say the least
