The sheer Donation Numbers...the Line stretching into downtown cleveland that is going into the blood bank to donate to those in need....The Show of international Sympathy for what has happened here...
It is truely a sign that the world stands, for the very first time, United.
It is a sign that heartens this Patriotic American. Who today flys his flag at half mast in salute to the firefighters, as well as the thousands of civilians who were killed in that heartless attack. I have for the first time in twenty years gone to a church and prayed for the Innocent people who have died in the rescue effort...
We Stand Together as a Nation, One and whole. It happened on December 7th, 1941, The Day which will live In Infamy. Today is another such day, and it too, will live in Infamy.
But I for one will not allow fear, Nor anger to Rule my heart.
The evil forces which have orchestrated this will Pay. The United nations will see to that, one way or the other. I lost friends in this tragedy, but I will not go out and form a Milita because of it. I am angry, and will focus that Anger in support of Our Armed Forces, and our president. He isnt ment for this sort of Job, and Frankly I think he ought to turn command over to the Joint Cheifs of Staff until this conflict is over.
We ARE The United States of America. And, despite all misgivings, doubters, pessimists, and nay-sayers. We will Not fall, fail, or falter.
Our buildings may fall, our citizens may die,. But America Will endure, So long as the Spirit Remains Unbroken. Which by the posts I have seen here, I am certain it Remains Strong.
