A few months back, my oldest son (he's 9) wrote a poem and his teacher submitted it to a contest. We just heard that he is one of the winners and his poem will be published! How cool is that anyway?!! <totally puffed up here>

Ok. I'm done now, so you all can go back to your cleaning, or mess making or whatever the heck it is we do in here. What do we do in here anyway?

Way to go Neffie's son and of course Neffie too!! I know exactly how you feel...we all know that our kids are amazing people but its pretty awesome when the rest of the world gets to see them at their best too!! Its also the best feeling to watch them do well.... It makes all the icky moments disappear in the blink of an eye.
