Has anyone watched the new show on Max called We’re here with Latrice Royale and two other Rupaul drag queens?
Well recently they came to Oklahoma and they just put up the part 1 of the episode of Oklahoma and it’s filmed in Tulsa but they go to Dewey and Bartlesville. The Bartlesville episode is next week. But it really hit home because being gay in Oklahoma it hasn’t been easy and watching what they did and where they went in Oklahoma just hits home.
I was born in Tulsa but grew up in Bartlesville/Dewey area and seeing the hate here is awful. We try every year to have a Pride every year. It’s not easy but if you do watch it just know it’s a Bible Belt state and we fight for the LGBTQ everyday!
