Some good news folks, the state of California's ammo background check law has been declared unconstitutional and the state has been permanently enjoined from enforcement. No doubt the state will appeal to the 9th circuit but the judges ruling and the legal reasoning is damn near bullet proof. But that's never stopped the 9th circuit before.

In another issue I've been following has been a case involving the FAA's interpretation of the regs so as to put the screws to the private aviation community. They've couched their interpretation in terms of "safety" but are actually creating potentially more hazardous conditions.

Overall since this administration has assumed power there seems to be a concerted effort on the part of the various agencies to curtail freedoms in whatever way they can.

I agree with this and ya know what, wat? You’re not gonna believe this, but you and I are a lot alike. We have a lot of time on our hands to fiddle around stuff. I sit at home thinking up crazy, off the cuff scenarios too. Like: What if there is an actual field of dreams and Kevin Costner uses it to go to Sherwood Forest or to Waterworld? Think about it.

So that "majority" looks a lot like an anemic plurality on a good day.
