I had a chance to buy a Springfield '03A3 in .22LR once, but they wanted a small fortune for it. Besides, other than practice or curiosity, what would have been the point?
 
Some years ago the youngest bought one of those Keltec 22 magnums (PMR30). I *chuckled* about it at the time.......until we took it out to the range. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that little monster.
 
Well, I didn't run out and buy one. And it's not really suitable for CC anyway. But it would work well out of a glove box.

Yeah, and no. Mahomes certainly has much more experience, but I think he's also football smarter than Jackson. I've never been a Fat Andy fan, but give the old boy credit, he gets them over the finish line. Harbaugh didn't.


I'll be curious to see how the Ravings one year wonder contracts and the folks who signed them will disperse come next season. This may have been their shot at it for awhile, unless . . . .
 
I grew up a Dol-Fan when living in West Palm Beach. Got spoiled on Marino, Kick and Zonka. Later the Panthers came to NC and I became less and less interested in football. This is the best time of year to watch football. Win or go home.
 
It is. I took it to heart for a lot of years, but it's hard to get worked up over a bunch of millionaires and if they're upset if they lose a game. There's actually some real stuff out in the world which is worth paying attention to.

Give them time. Just like cats I'm sure they'll eventually figure out a plan to kill everyone and take over the world.

I have enough cats I could be a democrat. And they have self-will, the little predators. I'm certain that they all have plans to kill me, and that the two things that save me are, they don't all have the same plan and none of them has a prehensile thumb.


Because they know where the firearms are . . . .

It's that lack of a thumb, and their resulting inability to open the cat treats canister, that keeps us alive. Change that and we're all goners.

And it wouldn't be pretty. Lots of bloody torn flesh and boney bits. It would be what a real insurrection looks like.
