A three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that a lower-court judge applied the incorrect legal standard when she declined last year to issue a preliminary injunction barring enforcement of California's law.

The gun owners, Mark Baird and Richard Gallardo, have been challenging the laws since 2019, saying California's restrictions on openly carrying handguns in public violates their right to keep and bear arms under the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment.

U.S. District Judge Kimberly Mueller in Sacramento, an appointee of former Democratic President Barack Obama, declined in December to block enforcement of the restrictions, saying doing so could endanger public safety.

It is funny though that if she decides to keep the baby the biological father is on the hook to support it but has no rights in deciding whether to keep it or abort it. If the father says not interested and the mother against his wishes says she will keep it anyways then she should be financially responsible. Honestly this is why I never believed any woman when she said she was on birth control. Because woman sometimes lie and have ulterior motives when having sex. it never happens outside of specif circumstances. Its just something that triggers people. Just like rape or incest. Does it happen? Yes, does happen often enough to be part of an honest conversation? No if people were interested in lowering abortion rates we'd be providing free or at least cheap child care and higher wages. If you look at any poll about why women get abortions in no particular order it looks like this.
