When confused and in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout. :D

Get out the mops and buckets, the tears are falling. We won't have to irrigate for the rest of the summer.

So, if they fuck this up (the Dems) like I think that they're/their/there going to fuck this up, then buying ARs should still be a thing for a least the next few years.

I reckon . . . .

This has been a heavy weight on my consciousness, I been very afraid to come out....... for fear of social ostracizing 😟 but it is time..... the reason I love and cherish my Mosin and frosty mornings.... is because it was a gift, yes a gift from uncle Putin.... there I've confessed...... my soul is been cleansed...... and restored, along with a fresh new target 😃

I got mine back when they were under $100 each. The last one I acquired was/is a M44, the short barrel carbine. Still the full house round. It's a good size for a truck gun, and if something bad happened to it, I would miss it but shed no tears. They work for what they are: cheap (enough) and effective (enough). The longer ones would be better at hitting their targets easily, but I can keep the carbine on a person at 100 yards easily enough. That's its job.

When I went into the army the first time (1989) we actually fired the m3. Just one mag. It was fun. Must’ve been 40 yo then.

Lots of rattling parts.

But in the field we were issued M16a2s and then m4s.

Based on how they were designed and built, I think they rattled right out of the gate.

The MP38 was a nice gun - very German, I.e. over-designed and over-built. The 40 was the stamped version of the machined gun.

This was an unfired Polish M44. Bought it for $125 years ago. It’s a far better rifle than my 1942 Tula. More accurate and the bolt is far “smoother”.

It’s a fairly accurate rifle.

Good enough.

I must admit, I like the short barrel.

I can't remember where this one came from, but I suspect Bulgaria maybe. I could be wrong. It doesn't matter. One of the first things I noticed about it was the massive fireball. Love/hate. I guess a body would have to handload some faster burning powder to eliminate some of that. I'm not there with it, not for that kind of rifle.

Well, we can be pretty damned certain that, should Madam VP be the actual Dem candidate, firearms will be shoved onto the chopping block in some fashion. That would be from the If They Don't Fuck This Up perspective. If they fuck it up, then it's almost a horse of a different species. Three and a half months. It'll be entertaining.

Meanwhile, Wat wasn't slain in a bit of nasty firearms violence, so there's that.

I didn't get shot at this weekend. I live by the lesson, don't be like trump.

And that, boys-n-girls, is a damned fine lesson, as I'd be in no itchin' hurry to live like Biden, either. I hate our "choices." We don't have a fucking choice. We haven't had a fucking choice for years. It's damned near H. L. Mencken time.
