Wat's Guns-N-Stuff Thread

They shipped the new/old rifle. Thing is, they said in their email that because of high volume, shipping would take 2-4 weeks.

I reckon that they've heard about who Wat is and how he has Teh Faithful Fearful in a tizzy . . . .

Uncle Thomas is still trying to out-wacko the rest of the wackos.

After all, somebody needs to make sure angry incels can continue to be armed after they commit domestic violence.

Someone doesn't understand what an 8-1 decision means.

Someone sees boogeymen behind every leaf and twig, under every rock, and in Wat's ammo cans. Fortunately, she's can't really see Wat's ammo cans.

Speaking of which, my new/old rifle that I was working on and had an issue with? Sorted that motherfucker right out, Wat did. The old op rod spring was broken into several pieces and was replaced. There was something wrong in the mechanism after reassembly. The new spring was removed after field stripping and the spring cavity in the op rod was investigated. Has to be done by braille. Damned if 3-4 little pieces of broken spring didn't fall out upon whacking the rod on a solid surface. Further investigation with a cleaning rod and a shot of carb cleaner and some compressed air, and some length checking with the new spring, and the tube was apparently clear. It was a lot easier to reassemble, and the bolt works properly now because the spring is no longer binding the system because of being over-compressed.

In true Lit PB fashion, Victory was declared and the Fascist Killer can now be put back into circulation.

How to say you're butthurt about today's SCOTUS decision without saying you're butthurt about today's SCOTUS decision. 😘
I dunno - I'm gonna go out here on a limb and say that a responsible gun owner would/should applaud this decision.
The reason there's radio silence here is that there aren't really ANY responsible gun owners that seem to enjoy occupying this space.
The same people who can't sign their name to this common sense, life saving decision are the same folks who think American democracy is well served by the fascist seeking trump.
Just my humble opinion.

Agree 100%.

The ammosexuals in here are, of course, not responsible gun owners. But I am, and I applaud it. 👏

What makes this hilarious is that if one comes here not knowing wat's beliefs and asks for an explanation - wat censors himself.

The Rahimi decision was no surprise. As a matter of fact this outcome was expected. There are following cases that the 2nd amendment community are going to be watching much closer and which are NOT effected by today's ruling.

Please note that, on the day SCOTUS decided to protect women from domestic abusers, the thread starter - who is obviously angry about their decision - is using female gender slurs against other members.

This is something domestic abusers do.

As you were.

🙂

I am also a responsible gun owner who applauds this decision.

The ammosexuals are concerned that the decision might affect their access to firearms if they express their juvenile rage during a domestic conflict situation. Their lack of maturity affects their ability to control their angry outbursts.

As usual the shallow thinkers are spewing the Gov't. talking points regarding the Rahimi decision. Let's start with the fact that Rahimi himself is the poster child for someone that should be serving a life sentence. He has a long history with the justice system and that this case reaches beyond domestic violence.

While the specifics of the case are based on a domestic violence beef the decision does not dwell on that fact but rather expands into the notion and history of disarming known violent offenders no matter what the specifics of their individual cases. The court ruled, rightly in my opinion, that the state can disarm violent offenders. The court also went to great lengths to distinguish those instances where there was NO question as to violence being part of the equation to trigger this remedy.

This decision DOES NOT address questions to be decided in future cases, such as disarming non-violent offenders. There is also the upcoming issues regarding the 'red flag' laws where there is NO FINDING OF FACT regarding violence.
