A dot three five seven would be sufficient, although we all know that he'll get the 1911 sales "pitch," considering our source. ;)

Please tell him that Wat welcomes him to our fine nation of 'Murrika, and perhaps educate him on the proper first amendment rights and usages on how to hurt the feelers of the hyper-tender.

And maybe 'splain to him that Wat is verra mean . . . .
Not true, I'll point him at the 9, maybe a 40.

The brass caddy missed again, he promises next Friday for sure. Was a busy week, the Memphis crew was back trading stolen guns for Fentanyl.........trying anyway. :)

Do you have any use for 9mm brass?

Oh c'mon, you need to at least let him fondle a 1911. It's pretty fucking All 'Murrikan, what with 2 world wars and all.

I imagine I could find a use for 9mm brass. Reloading is part of my future plans, and I have . . . ahem . . . several 9s.

Good, that allows me to avoid sorting the stuff out. The cans are all a mixed bag of once fired military. The finest stuff your government can buy. :D

Maybe next time with the 45. The AR in question has never been fired so the time is going to be spent getting the irons and the red dot sighted in and then the basics. I don't feel like throwing other shit in the game this AM.

The jury would still be out on this:

Interesting concept, I'll have to give it a try.

Interesting day at the range. The 'student' was a quick study so everything went smoothly. Took about 30 rnds to get the sights all dialed in properly. Most of that was spent on the irons, the red dot came in quickly. He then blew through 70 more rnds at various ranges up to 300 yds.

We decided to call it a day and go get a bite to eat. The subject turned to pistols and he said, "I already have one." So naturally I asked what he had? "A .45." :p:D

Turns out he'd never shot that either so another lesson is being scheduled.

Like I said, he's a pretty sharp cookie and we had a wide ranging discussion over lunch during which he came up with an interesting legal theory. He, like the rest of us, has observed that damn near all of the mass shootings has occurred at 'gun free zones.' He thinks that any survivors and the families of the victims should sue the owners of said properties, even if the properties are government owned. His theory is that if the owner(s) are denying the victims the right to defend themselves then said owner(s) have taken that obligation unto themselves and are then legally culpable for failing to provide said defense. Like I said, it's an interesting theory that I'm going to run by a few legal eagles that I know.

I love it!!! So he did get a .45. Bully for him. Maybe he can look into a wheel gun his next handgun purchase.

I like shooting with people who like to shoot. Which reminds me, I need to contact the godson about shooting.

Wat's Reaction Score: steadily climbing because of his overwhelming popularity. What's not to like???

They missed their chance here as well. Do you think they're stupid, lazy, or waiting for a coordinated uprising?

In a short answer?

Yes.

My M1 isn't here yet.

I mean, WTF!!!

The Serbs make a specific M1 ammo. It is high like ammo but cheap compared to other higher ammo. I have some aught six brass in my stuff somewhere.

The guy I fear more than any other poster here (RobDownSouth) posted that Noem gave Cricket a 20-count head start. If so, Cricket would still be chasing cows and killing chickens.

This is how Cricket got it, and how your gummint will get you after they get your guns:

Little man, I took great pains to specify "rural folks" in general with regard to this perverse hobby, I wasn't talking about Noem or you in particular.

One suspects people like you and Noem, with your limited eyesight and even more limited morals, need either point-blank range or a spotter to make their steel peener substitutes effective.

Rural folks look the other way at coat hanger abortions, while "city slickers" support safe medical abortions.

"City slickers" will pay to euthanize their dogs humanely when the time comes, while rural folks welcome the opportunity for live target practice.

"okay Cricket, I'ma gonna give you a 20 second head start......"

Yeah, maybe so., but I imagine that it's easier to throw a strike with a rock than a brick.

If Cricket had been killed (or do we really want to say "murdered"?) with gravel down at the bullet pit, we'd never have herd of her.

The plan is, within the year, every day will be Range Day, so Cricket had best mind her Ps-n-Qs . . . .

Every good cookbook is in binder form. I shall write a formal email of complaint.

:ROFLMAO: :nana:
I have a used three hole punch I'll sell ya along with some single edged razor blades. :p

There does seem to be some of this going 'round in gummint "workers:"

"No government worker was ever terminated or punished for telling a citizen "No", so that becomes their career message to the public." - Chobham
